About TRP

The name "Thal" was derived from the studio owner's name "Crystal".

Often misunderstood that he is a female, so he cut his name to something that is at least neutral. While "Ruin" is simply the title of his favorite song from the band Lamb of God. TRP is mainly about lifestyle photography. Something that focuses on real-life happening and captures moments that you do not expect. There are moments when emotion and art intersect. This is where we want to live. This is what we capture. Moments that are the most real. Thal Ruin Photography started in 2014. We specialize in wedding photography but we do other events and beyond. To us photography is about people being real and then letting us paint a picture of that moment to remember it forever. This is the story that matters most: real people, real stories, real moments. The goal of our work is to tell the story of you, your loved ones and your relationships. Focusing on the real life happening throughout the day creates space for us to be present and capture moments that you do not expect. Moments that are the most real. And while photography continues to change in its style and technology, we stay focused on what really matters...capturing the essence of your moment and your spirit.

ABOUT THAL RUIN

Crystal Rigor Nacion, known as Thal Ruin, began his journey as a photography enthusiast, initially buying a second-hand camera and capturing various subjects. Fueled by eagerness to learn and a deep passion for photography, he transitioned into a professional when he landed his first client. This milestone led him to establish his own studio and develop his unique brand.

Thal Ruin has a bubbly character and is very fun to work with and he is one for belly laughs, cheesy dad jokes and also a firm believer of good vibes only.

HOW WE SHOOT

We just loved to photograph you being you! We are not big fans of posing. We won't pose you or force you into something you don't comfortable in. We take a fun & relaxed approach to capture the magic of your story.
OUR COLOR

Our color is natural - a bit warmer in between of dark and moody and light and bright. We also use color grading techniques to achieve a cinematic look and style which gives photos and videos gorgeous natural look.
EDITING

Genuine is beautiful and we want to show you your best self. While we sometimes do minimal retouch, we do not edit too much that will alter who you really are. It is still best embracing one’s natural beauty and style.
